How To Start Serving
Submit Your Interest Form
You will be receiving an introduction email with the application and training required to serve with Cherish.
Complete Cherish Application
This application helps us learn more about you, any experience you may have, and your availability. Previous experience is not required.
Submit the Online Cherish Training
The online training is an opportunity for you to learn how the ministry began, why we focus on young moms, and what our ministry goals are.
RSVP To Serve at Your First Cherish Event
Join us at our Cherish Life Skills Workshops! Volunteers make it all possible by serving meals, serving in childcare, and creating a warm, welcoming space.
Serving Roles
Care Team
Call up to 10 Cherish Moms once a month and lead your group at the Life Skills Workshop every month
Leadership Team
Coordinate and lead a specific team and area for all Cherish Events
Childcare
Provide childcare at the Life Skills Workshop for approximately 2 hours
Life Skills Workshop
Set up event, serve in childcare, distribute new & used items, and create a welcoming space
Donation Sorting
Keep the Cherish Center stocked by sorting incoming donations and quality control items
Mentorship
A six week in home program offering young moms prayer, encouragement, and guidance.
Food Service
Help prepare, serve, and maintain food service area during Cherish events
Transportation
Give a ride to/from the Cherish Life Skills Workshop for a young mom and her little one
